A Day In May
Community Hope is a nonprofit organization formed after the March fires of 2025 to support those affected by the devastation. They now focus on building communities by supporting others who fundraise or by uplifting those who feel forgotten.
'A Day in May' is an event to raise funds for their top-priority program, Pathways to Empowerment. This program offers grants, peer support, and mentorship to help people who are recovering addicts, convicted felons, or spouses fleeing domestic violence get an education in a career of their choice through a technical institute.

Salty Sisters x Sailboak Creek: Nana's Birthday Bash
The event is a joint collaboration between Salty Sisters x Sailboat Creek. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best red, white, and blue sparkle outfits to match the Patriotic Disco vibes. The evening will feature a wide range of local shopping, including retail items, handmade goods, and food trucks.
Porter Peach Festival 2026
For 60 years, the Porter Peach Festival has brought the community together to celebrate summer, hometown traditions, and the famous local peach harvest. Each July, Porter fills with music, food, friendly competition, and plenty of peach treats as neighbors and visitors gather to enjoy one of Oklahoma’s most beloved small-town festivals. It’s a tradition rooted in nostalgia, community pride, and a spirit that’s as American as peaches and sweet tea.
Sleigh Bells Market OKC
The Sleigh Bells Market 10th Anniversary takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For its milestone year, the event has moved to the Modern Living Building at the OKC Fairgrounds (OKC Fair Park) to accommodate more holiday vendors than ever before.
